Factors such as a different environment, beds, IVs, specific surgical procedures, or medications may pose challenges to safe mobility. Upon admission, a nurse will conduct a comprehensive review of your fall risks. Patient rooms may display signs or information sheets detailing these risks, serving as a guide for patients, family members, or visitors to assist in ensuring your safety from falls.
