Displaying unparalleled leadership qualities , the UAE has once again demonstrated its solidarity with the rest of the world by resolving to train over 1 million healthcare workers through the Waterfall initiative announced on August 12.
In the last six months we have seen what an important role the doctors , nurses and paramedics played as frontline warriors combating the COVID 19 pandemic.
Not just satisfied with effectively handling the pandemic in the UAE, His Highness Shaikh Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai announced the initiative .
What is the Waterfall Initiative?
The “Waterfall” initiative offers a virtual medical training across 14 medical sectors. It will be carried out in partnership with 140 experts and 67 academic institutions and training centres from around the world.
This largest global initiative for continuous learning and specialised training to be launched by the UAE will be implemented under the follow-up and supervision of Lieutenant General Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.
