Zaheer Kanji

Dr. Zaheer Kanji is a dual board-certified general surgeon with the American Board of Surgery and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Born and raised in Canada, he completed his medical training at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, AB followed by general surgical residency at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, BC. During his residency, he pursued a Master of Science in Cancer Genetics at the University of Toronto. Following general surgical residency, Dr. Kanji completed an AHPBA accredited fellowship in Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgery at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, WA. Prior to relocating to Dubai, Dr. Kanji was a consultant general and hepatobiliary surgeon at Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops, BC; a 280-bed tertiary care level II trauma center in the interior of BC. His practice includes management of both benign and malignant general surgical diseases on an elective and emergency basis.
