Sandra Mrad

Dr. Sandra Mrad is a distinguished Lebanese consultant in Emergency Medicine with extensive clinical experience in Lebanon and the UAE. She earned her medical degree from the Lebanese University School of Medicine in Beirut and completed her residency at the American University of Beirut, where she served as chief resident. She further specialized by pursuing a fellowship in Emergency Medical Education at the same institution. To broaden her expertise, Dr. Mrad obtained a master's degree in medical education from Johns Hopkins University and a diploma in clinical simulation from the Lebanese American University. Her teaching credentials are extensive, including roles as a clinical adjunct at the Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences and as an instructor for Advanced Trauma Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, TeamSTEPPS™ Training, bleeding control sessions, and the Tactical Combat Casualty Care Advanced Course. Additionally, she has presented at numerous national and international conferences in the fields of emergency medicine and toxicology. Dr. Mrad is certified in several advanced life support courses by the American Heart Association, including BLS, ACLS, PALS, ABLS, and ATLS. Before joining the American Hospital, she served as an emergency physician at the American University of Beirut Medical Center, Keserwan Medical Center, and Mediclinic Parkview Hospital. Beyond her medical practice, Dr. Mrad is actively involved in motorsports, serving as the Deputy Chief Medical Officer at the Dubai Autodrome. Her diverse background and unwavering commitment to medical education and emergency medicine make her a prominent figure in her field.
