Marianna Velissariou

Dr. Marianna was born and brought up in Limassol, Cyprus. She obtained her general dentistry degree from the University of Debrecen, Hungary, and her Master of Science in Pediatric Dentistry at the European University College, UAE. Dr. Marianna has practiced since then in the position of Specialist Pediatric Dentist in different dental clinics, including Drs. Nicolas and Asp Clinic and The Curve Dental Clinic. In the last 4 years, Dr. Marianna has been practicing in the position of specialist Pediatric dentist at Mediclinic City Hospital. With more than 10 years of clinical experience as a pediatric dentist, Dr. Marianna is providing dental treatment for children from infancy to adolescence, covering all aspects of pediatric dentistry from prevention to cure. She also provides dental treatment under Nitrous Oxide inhalation, sedation (laughing gas), and General Anesthesia for children that are anxious. Dr. Marianna’s goal in dentistry is to help her patients establish healthy habits that will follow them through their youth and beyond. She strongly believes that good oral health plays a major role in improving the overall health and quality of life of a child. She also believes that everyone has the right to a better, healthier, and happier future, and thus she is very passionate about providing better oral health for people of determination. In line with that, she had participated in the Special Smiles Healthy Athletes Team for the Special Olympics in Abu Dhabi and visited multiple schools for people of determination to spread awareness about good oral health.
