Farida Ali

Dr. Farida Ali is a UK Board Certified Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon. She qualified in Medicine in 1994 to embark on her surgical training in the West Midlands and London, culminating in admission to the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh as a Fellow in Plastic Surgery in 2009. She completed specialist fellowships in Aesthetic Surgery in London and Reconstructive Surgery in Taiwan and London, all of which complimented her interest in breast and reconstruction surgery.  Dr. Ali was a Consultant Plastic Surgeon and Clinical Lead for Breast Reconstruction at St George’s Hospital in London for 14 years before moving to Dubai. 

Her main area of practice is aesthetic and reconstructive breast surgery, offering the full range of services, including breast augmentation, breast reduction, breast lifting and reconstruction, using implants or patient’s own tissue (“autologous reconstruction”). She believes passionately in supporting women by providing them with as much information as they need; from surgical options, risks & benefits to long-term outcomes, to empower them to make informed choices about what they want. 

Hand in hand with this, she offers cosmetic & reconstructive surgery of the body, including abdominoplasty (“tummy tuck”), repair of post pregnancy abdominal wall weakness (“rectus divarication”), liposuction and body contouring. She also treats general plastic surgery conditions such as skin cancers, lumps and bumps and symptomatic scars.
