Fatma Aljassim

Dr. Fatma Aljassim is a Swedish/ European dual board-certified Consultant Pediatrician and Pediatric Pulmonologist with working experience in DHA for the last 20 years. Her previous practice was based in Sweden, where she worked as a Pediatrician at Queen Silvia Children's Hospital, Gothenburg, Sweden, and as a Pediatric Pulmonologist at Astrid Lindgren Children's Hospital, Karolinska Institution, Stockholm, Sweden. She has established and led the Department of Pediatric Pulmonology and Sleep Medicine, including Interventional Bronchoscopy, in Latifa Women and Children Hospital, and in Al Jalila Children Specialty Hospital, Dubai Health, UAE, covering all aspects of respiratory issues, including asthma and lung function testing, allergy, cystic fibrosis, PCD, interventional bronchoscopy, tracheostomy care, sleep, and long-term ventilation. Dr. Fatma obtained her medical degree qualification in 2003 and did her Pediatric specialty rotation at Queen Silvia Children's Hospital in Gothenburg, Sweden. She did her subspecialty training and research in Pediatric Pulmonology and Interventional Bronchoscopy in Astrid Lindgren Children's Hospital, Karolinska institution, Stockholm, Sweden. She received her masters degree in Health Care Management from the Royal College of Surgeons Ireland in 2020.
